If you are struggling at work, home, or in any aspect of your life, it may be because you are battling toxins in your environment or a microbial imbalance, and your body isn’t getting the support it needs. Maybe you haven’t been feeling well but your doctors keep telling you that you are fine. Maybe you reached out to a dietician but didn’t feel they offered enough help.
Maybe you are often sick, tired, dizzy, lightheaded, irritable or confused. You can take action today. Make this your new focus and start living a life of quality and self-care.

Continue to learn. Please consider what is written here, but also consult a healthcare provider before making any changes.
Support your brain health by feeding yourself vegetables, fruits, proteins and some carbs. Healthy fats, such as fish oil or olive oil, are helpful for brain function and can boost your energy (make sure the fish oil is mercury-free). Spinach and other green vegetables can provide many vitamins, especially vitamin B which is essential for brain function and fetal development. Grow your own vegetables to reduce pesticides. Compost leaves or make Compost Tea to eliminate use of synthetic fertilizers.
Healthy eating is important, but most likely you will need to supplement. We do not eat like our wild ancestors, who use to eat more parts of the animals, giving them healthy sources of fat to feed their bodies and their brains. Also, dirt from digging up wild plants gave them minerals and probiotics.

Probiotics: probiotics are good bacteria that live in your stomach and intestines. If you did not have them, you could not digest your food. Living in the wild and eating raw foods allowed our ancestors to take in probiotics from their environment regularly. Today, food is pasteurized to prevent the spread of bad bacteria and is treated with preservatives – both these processes kill good bacteria that would naturally be on the food. Your intestinal bacteria may be struggling to survive on your current diet. This affects brain function and physical health. Many people find success eating fermented foods, such as sourcrout, which naturally contain beneficial bacteria. Good bacteria are all around us. Return to your roots through gardening. Getting your hands in the soil will lift your spirits and start you on the right path to health and wellness.

Modern Chemistry:
Chemistry has grown a great deal over the past several decades. There are many substances which never existed before but have become part of our daily lives. The process of making a chemical change alters a substance so that it is no longer the original substance, and it becomes something new that our bodies are unfamiliar with. We do not yet have any real idea how these substances affect people long term.
Understanding how our healthcare works:
Western Medicine (North America): Was mostly developed in recent decades, often focuses on treating symptoms without delving into the root cause, relies on medications, and is a profit driven industry. Although this method can resolve many ailments, other issues may arise as side-effects.
Eastern Medicine (Asia): Has been developed over thousands of years, focuses on the whole body and seeks to uncover the cause of the ailment. Uses natural remedies to heal the body and sees far smaller profits as most patients experience better overall health long term. This was developed before the introduction of modern chemistry.
There is not necessarily a right or wrong answer.
Instead of one or the other, a combination of Eastern and Western methods might best suit you.

Food and Food Ingredients to avoid:
The majority of foods for sale in supermarkets should not be considered edible. Most likely, your body’s good bacteria are not able to survive on your current diet. Fried foods or shelf stable foods containing lots of preservatives, pesticides, or herbicides will kill off your good gut bacteria. This affects brain function and physical health.
If you are eating to feel full or eating for what tastes good, you need to change your goal. Eat nutritious foods that feed your good microbes. Your good gut bacteria are what helps your body to break down food and delivers nutrition to the brain and body.

Please read about some important ingredients:
Artificial food dye or color: Can cause mood swings, aggression, increase problems with hyperactive/attention disorders, and can cause brain damage. This ingredient is found in many colorful foods, typically targeting children, posing a great threat to developing brains and bodies.
“Natural flavors”: Can cause dizziness, brain fog, forgetfulness, confusion, or long-term brain damage. This ingredient is in many foods. It is used to enhance flavor of the food but may cause brain cells to rupture.

Synthetic vitamins: Can interfere with the body’s ability to absorb nutrients from natural sources such as food or more natural vitamins. Do your own research and keep a journal to learn what works for you.
Sugar: Causes mood swings, makes it difficult to focus, can lead to depression and anxiety. Can cause body odor because sugar supports the growth of bad bacteria. Can make the body acidic.
Sugar is found in foods that break down quickly such as energy drinks, juice, desserts, white flour, pasta, baked goods, pastries, granola bars, breads, etc.
Fruits are good for you, but should not be eaten in excess since they contain sugar.
A person who eats vegetables and proteins will have better balance to their sugar levels (less mood swings), and will support the good bacteria in their intestines (giving them a stronger immune system).
Carbohydrates are important, so make choices that may be healthier for you, such as vegetables or limited breads.
Human body odor: There is a craze to buy whole-body deodorant, to cover up the smells that people are emitting. This is an example of “treating the symptoms”. If you look into the cause of the smell, you would most likely determine these people are eating sugar, unhealthy foods, and that they lack nutrition and probiotic support. By fixing the diet, the smell could go away, and the people could become healthy. The sad part is, we have evolved to use scent as a way to know if someone is healthy and determine if that person is a good mate choice. Listen to your body’s warning signs.
Should I quit bread?
Most breads sold in stores are loaded with preservatives and other chemicals. Breads quickly turn into sugar in the body.
If you can quit grains, cereal, sugar, and fruit for one week, you are going to make positive changes in your body. Instead of reaching for these foods, you will begin seeking different foods that your body wasn't able to ask for before. You may start looking for healthy fats, such as a spoon of olive oil every day. This gives your brain vital energy. Taking a break from certain foods, such as grains and sugar, can give the lining of your stomach and intestines time to heal. Focus on eating proteins, vegetables, and foods that make you feel well. Use the help of a doctor or dietician to guide you in this process. It is important to make sure you are continuing to eat healthy foods and that you get enough to fuel your body throughout the day.

Solutions:

Why are people sick or tired so frequently?
Many people today suffer from damage to their intestinal lining. The intestinal lining is important to keeping in the germs, bacteria, and other unwanted items contained to our stomach. When a stomach is healthy, it contains acid and is typically capable of containing and passing any unwanted food, bacteria, parasites, viruses, or other unwanted items we may ingest. When the lining is damaged, particles may escape the stomach or intestines into the body and cause issues. Alcohol, medications, chemicals on food, and other irritants can all cause damage to the intestinal lining.

HERBS: Herbs have been the basis of medicine for centuries. Recently, growing herbs has become less common and people rely on modern medicines. But the herbs tend to be kinder to our bodies with fewer unwanted side effects. Some practitioners work with herbs and may be able to assist on your healing journey.
For bacterial infections, such as Lyme disease, there are limited treatment options in the world of modern medicine. There are many beneficial herbs to help combat bacterial infections, and may resolve the symptoms of Lyme disease or other similar issues.
Parasites are more common than many people may realize and can also be put in check through the use of herbs.

Start with the least intrusive means possible, take care of your body. Introduce new things slowly. Give yourself time to heal. Patience is important as you make change. Be kind to your body. A gentle, long-term approach may make your more resilient over the long term than starting new things and overdoing it on the amounts.
Medicines or other substances:
Medications: Medical doctors learn a great amount about the human body and will be able to help with many health challenges you might face. However, medical practitioners study medicines, so their window on the world is to use medicines to treat patients, but this is not always the best way. Every medication has some side effect. When possible, begin treatment with the least intrusive means available. It is best to avoid chemical substances or medications whenever possible. For example, antidepressants can actually cause depression. The more medications a person is on, the more contraindications and side effects there are.
If you are on medication, you are taking care of yourself and using the resources available to you to do so. Do not stop medication without talking to your doctor, as it is usually best to complete the course of medication once you start it. If you decide to halt the use of a medication, it can sometimes take up to a year to detox the residuals from your body. But keep researching, because there may be healthier ways to approach a situation, and you may find ways to treat your condition that make you healthier in the future.
Antibiotics: Antibiotics cannot differentiate good bacteria from bad bacteria, and when taken, will kill most of the good and bad bacteria simultaneously. Although most people expect to take this if they become ill, the best thing to do is support your natural immunity to help your body heal and become stronger on its own. The good bacteria in your body are part of your immune system. By taking care of yourself and helping good bacteria thrive, you may recover without use of antibiotics and come out much stronger. It can take years for your body to recover from using antibiotics. For newborns, antibiotic eyedrops can cause damage to the eyes and immune system. Just because something is done a certain way doesn't mean it the most beneficial way.
Drugs, Alcohol, and other mind-altering substances: Cause mood swings, depression, and can lead to aggression. Even small amounts can cause damage to the intestines, intestinal bacteria, brain, or other areas of the body. These substances make you feel like you are in control, but you are not.
Acetaminophen: This is a common over the counter drug given for pain management. Studies are finding the use of this drug during pregnancy is linked to problems with fetal development or death.
Infants: Try to avoid medications or chemical substances whenever possible. When a newborn arrives into the world, their body is functioning on its own for the first time, including their liver. At this stage, they are only designed to digest milk. Introducing drugs can severely interfere with their development.
Vaccines: Can lower the body’s natural immunities. There is a law that protects the companies that make these products – it does not hold them accountable for any harm, injury, side effects, or death that happens as a result of a shot. Although there are many shots a person can receive, many are not necessary and can cause more harm than good. For example, the vitamin-K shot for newborns is unnecessary, is based off minimal research, and is administered at a very vulnerable stage of life when brain and body development are happening rapidly. Some individuals cannot handle the harsh chemicals or metals contained within each dose of a shot.
Pregnant women risk causing damage or death to the fetus if they receive any type of shots.
Never get more than one shot at a time, if there is any type of reaction, never give that shot again. Some reactions are immediate, others can take months to show up. Do your own research.
Outdoors and Wildlife Impacts:
Farming practices: Our farms use a lot of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides. These can make you sick. Tilling the soil exposes it to sunlight, which kills microbes, making the soil less productive, therefore encouraging farmers to use more chemicals.
Do your research to find out which foods have less chemicals or find ways to prepare them to remove most of the chemicals.
Colony collapse in bees: There are multiple factors that contribute to colony collapse in bees, including chemicals sprayed on the fields which makes the bees sick, not having enough native flowers to pollinate, and by people collecting too much honey from the hive which depletes their resources.
Poisons: Poisons to control rat and mouse populations are harmful to anyone who comes in contact with them. A mouse that has ingested these poisons will slowly die, they are often picked up by birds of prey, fox or coyotes, who then ingest the poison and become extremely sick. The result is that the animal either dies from the poison, survives but becomes extremely weak and struggles, or develops cancer or disease. Any animals that die from the poison transfer the poison into the ground where it is picked up by organisms in the ground, including worms and microbes. Mutations can occur as they replicate in a toxic environment.
Yard chemicals: Chemicals to fertilize flowers, fertilize grass, destroy bugs in the soil, or kill unwanted plants is hurting our environment and those who live nearby, including us.
Dogs who sniff the ground continuously may develop cancer in their nose from inhaling chemicals in the grass.
Synthetic fertilizers alter the proteins in flower nectar, changing the food source that our wild pollinators are use to.
What you can do: Make your own compost or a “Compost Tea” to feed your plants instead of synthetic fertilizers. Secure it with a lid on the bucket to prevent animals or children from accidentally falling in or drowning.

Additional Thoughts:
Wild meat is leaner than grain fed domestic animals.
Grow you own food when possible. Use crop rotation to replenish nutrients in the soil and to naturally reduce pests.
A doctor or professional may tell you a drug or product is safe, but that doesn’t mean it is. They are just reiterating what they have been taught, and sometimes information can be biased, misinterpreted, or misrepresented. Do your own research.

Stress:
Stress will lower your natural immunity and can lead to anxiety, depression and more. It is likely that your lifestyle and diet has caused damage to your digestive tract, leading to fatigue, poor body composition and/or your brain functioning at less than optimal levels. Attack stress by taking care of your intestinal bacteria which will boost your immune system. Many people find success eating fermented foods, such as sourcrout, which contain beneficial bacteria. Reducing chemical intake will help the lining of your intestines repair itself.
Talk about the issues and opportunities in your life. When we don't talk it out, thoughts in our brains can take over and have a negative impact on our wellbeing and self-worth. Getting help to talk through situations is often essential for self-growth and better relationships.

Balance:
Spiritual, Mental, and Physical health are intertwined. Taking care of yourself and your family means supporting your needs.
